Jak poinformowało Electronic Arts na Facebooku, Need for Speed: The Run nie pojawi się w App Store. Posiadaczom urządzeń z iOS nie będzie dane grać w najnowszą wersję popularnej gry wyścigowej na swoich iPhone'ach i iPadach.

EA Mobile podało informację na swoim fanpage'u. Niestety powód takiego posunięcia ze strony producenta nie jest znany. Pomimo, że jakiś czas temu w sieci pojawiły się screeny z gry, okazuje się że wcale nie trafi ona na urządzenia mobilne. EA zapewnia jednak swoich fanów, że wkrótce na smartfony oraz tablety trafi zupełnie inna część popularnej serii.

Komunikat ze strony EA:

EA Mobile will not be launching Need for Speed: The Run on iOS. These decisions don’t come easily, but in the end our focus on fewer, bigger, better experiences necessitated that we focus resources on another exciting new Need for Speed experience for mobile users coming soon. We’ll share more about that in the coming months.
