Can I 'unlock' my iPhone and use it on another network?
Pay Monthly customers
Yes. If you're a Pay Monthly customer, then you can unlock your iPhone at anytime for free. This doesn’t affect your contract though – you’ll still need to see out the rest of it.
To unlock your phone, just fill out this unlocking form and we’ll do the rest.
Once we’ve got your form, it’ll then take up to 14 days for us to get it unlocked for you. Once it’s unlocked, we’ll text you to let you know. You can then put a non-O2 Sim into the iPhone and connect it to iTunes. iTunes will then tell you the phone is unlocked.
Pay & Go customers
Yes, you can unlock your iPhone. You’ll need to pay a £15 one off fee and we’ll take this from the credit on your phone.
If you’re unlocking your phone less than 12 months after you bought it, we’ll take off the free Web & Wi-Fi Bolt On (that we added for the first 12 months). If you want to keep the Bolt On (it costs £10 a month), just choose the option when you’re filling out the unlocking form. Find out more about the Web & Wi-Fi Bolt on here

Business customers
Yes. If you're the main account holder, you can ask your individual users to complete the unlocking form and we'll unlock the iPhone free of charge. This doesn’t affect your contract though – you’ll still need to see out the rest of it.

Pogrzebałem nieco na temat zdejmowania simlocka z iPhone w Vodafone:
All of our pay as you go phones are locked to our network, including those by Apple (iPhone). If you want to unlock a pay as you go phone so you can use it with a SIM from another mobile operator, you’ll need an NUC code. We’ll supply you with this for a one-off cost of £19.99. You’ll need to top up your phone with at least £19.99 before you ask for the code so we can deduct it from your credit to pay for your NUC. If your phone is over 12 months old, we’ll give you an NUC for free.
How to request a Network Unlock Code
To get a NUC code, please contact your customer services team. We’ll need you to give us this information:
Your Vodafone number (if you don't have one, you can order a free pay as you go SIM online - you can get your NUC as soon as this is registered
Your phone's serial number/ IMEI (enter *#06# into the phone to get this, or look underneath the battery - the IMEI is a 15-20 digit code starting 35)
The make and model of your phone or device
An alternative contact number for you
An email address for you
Contact Customer Service
If the unlock code is held in our systems, you’ll receive it with instructions by email within 24 hours. If the unlock code isn’t held by us, the turnaround time is 72 hours for all makes of phone except Samsung, which is 7–10 working days.
We’ll send you an email to confirm that we’ve received your request – and when you can expect your code.
You can only get unlock codes for the numbers on your account – if you have two mobile numbers on your account, you can get two free unlock codes.
