Użytkownik Overpanic podał taki sposób:
I've got an HP LaserJet 1020, and I too was having trouble getting a workaround to function on my brand-new macbook pro running OS X version 10.6.3, after switching from my old Gateway laptop.
Eventually, after enough searching around, I found a solution that seems to have worked thus far, with which I am pretty satisfied. Now, admittedly, I am a newly-converted PC user, and I'm not sure of all the technical details that come with using a Mac, but I'll try and take you through the steps. Some of these are likely to be redundant, and I welcome suggestions to streamline these steps from more experienced Mac users.
1) Go to the HP site and download the old (2006) driver for the HP 1022, entitled "universal binary full solution".
(this can be found at: http://h20000.www2.h....5&swEnvOID=219)
2) remove any prior printer installations (through the "system preferences" under "print & fax").
3) delete any files in the "library/printers/HP" folder (through "finder").
4) Install the file from step 1.
5) Go to "system preferences", choose "print & fax", and click the "add" (+) button to add your printer.
6) Under the setting "Print using", you will have a drop down box. Choose "HP LaserJet 1022, 1.2.0.224".
7) You will get an error message stating that the software is incomplete or might not work. Ignore that for now.
8) The HP Laserjet 1020 should now appear, along with an error symbol. Click on the button "options & supplies...", then click the "driver" tab.
9) It should show a message stating your driver is not functioning.
10) Click the apple button (top left corner of computer) and choose "software update".
11) The computer should automatically download an update for your selected driver. Once downloaded, you should be able to print!
W skrócie i po naszemu to:
1. Z podanego linku: http://h20000.www2.h....5&swEnvOID=219 ściągnąć soft wersja 2006: Universal Binary Full Solution.
2. Zainstalować.
3. Po podłączeniu waszej drukarki do systemu, komputer zobaczy ją i zażąda podania drivera (oprogramowania).
4. Wybrać HP LJ 1022 (u mnie było: 1022 Gutenprint v5.2.3).
5. Zapodać Software Update w SU. SU automatycznie ściągnie nowe drivery.
6. Zainstalować.
7. Ponownie wejść do ustawień w Print and Fax i wybrać opcję: Option & Supplies.
8. Następnie zakładkę "driver".
9. Ponownie wejść do listy driverów i tym razem wybrać "HP LJ 1022, 1.3.0.261"
10. Zatwierdzić OK i UŻYWAĆ

U mnie drukarka WRESZCIE RUSZYŁA i pięknie drukuje polskie ogonki

Aha! Używam 10.6.4 SL
Miłej zabawy!
PS.
I pomyśleć... co ten Stefan namieszał? Źle było wcześniej?
