Co zrobić, żeby dograć wsparcie dla postgres'a w PHP które jest w snow leo?
szukałem, próbowałem, nijak mi nie chce działać...
zainstalowałem sterownik z pecl'a, dodałem ścieżkę w php.ini do katalogu z nim, dodałem go do rozszerzeń i dupa, nie chce działać, lae w php info go widzi, rozpoznaje, etc. ale już próba połączenia zwraca fatal error

postgres instalowany ze źródeł, działa normalnie...

jak dograć w takim razie wsparcie dla postgres'a dla php?
da się?
czy muszę kompilować od 0 'swojego' php'a i go podmienić?

najchętniej obyłbym się bez fink'ów, dawinportóe, etc.
chyba że mnie ktoś przekona

zależy mi na tym, żeby mieć działającego php'a z wsparciem dla mysql, postgresa, biblioteką gd, xslt

wpadłem na wspaniałe Marc Liyanage - Software - Mac OS X Packages - PHP ale zdaje się nie działać pod Snow Leo? przynajmniej mi...

Jest sposób, co prawda nie robiłem tego z pgsql.so ale z mcrypt.so i jakimś jeszcze innym extension.

Sciągnij źródła php dokładnie takie jaką masz wersje php (chyba 5.3.1), wejdź w katalog 'php-src/ext/pgsql' (chyba, albo jakoś podobie, ale to znajdziesz) w terminalu, daj:
1. phpize
2. ./configure
3. make
4. potem przenies pgsql.so do katalogu extensions php i dodaj linie w php.ini

To ./configure sprawdz z --help, bo prawdopodobnie będzie trzeba dać dodatkowe parametry wskazujące na library postgresa i jego nagłówki .h, coś jak --lib-dir, --includes-dir itp


Czyli przykładowo jeśli masz postgresql z macport to mniej więcej tak (pseudo kod, zobacz z --help, bo pewnie pokręciłem troszkę):
./configure --include-dir=/opt/local/include --lib-dir=/opt/local/lib


Ewentualnie zainstaluj MAMP.

próbowałem też tego i zdawało się nie banglać właśnie niestety...
snow leopard - tutaj coś takiego znalazłem
zrobiłem to samo dla samego pgsql jak i dla pdo_pgsql
dodałem flagi --with-pdo-pgsql=usr/local/pgsql i --with-pgsql=usr/local/pgsql
tam mam zainstalowanego postgres'a (z oficjalnych źródeł - nie mam macports)

nadal pg_connect() zwraca fatal error, bo nie ma takiej funkcji...

co do MAMP'a - z tego co wiem ma wsparcie dla postgres'a, ale go nie instaluje - jak go dodać w takim razie? ogólnie to raczej chyba wolałbym bez MAMP'a (chociaż... nie wiem już...)

zrobiłem dwa extensiony, ale w php.ini dodałem tylko jeden...

No to ok jak zabanglało. Czyli kompilowałeś tak? Mniej więcej w ten sposób co wyżej?

A ja właśnie się przestawiam całkowicie na MAMP-a. Wiem wiem, wcześniej się z niego naśmiewałem, ale przyjrzałem się bliżej i mi bardzo podszedł. A ten php w systemie często mi powoduje crashe i wywala apache, w sumie apache migiem wstaje po takim crashu, ale troszkę mnie to denerwuje jak coś nie chodzi tip top.

No i co troszkę dziwne dla mnie jest jeszcze jedno: MAMP 32bitowy działa jakby szybciej niż systemowe apache/php + mysql 64bity. Tak zauważyłem. Może przez ten XCache w MAMP, ale chyba nie, bo już zaraz po starcie wydaje się działać szybciej. Ciekawe czemu, jednak te 64 bity jakby nie zawsze były lepsze.

No ale ok, bo nie na temat się rozpisałem.

skompilowałem tak jak napisałem (w sensie z takimi flagami) i tak, ze źródeł php
cały myk polegał chyba na tym, żeby wgrać i pdo_pgsql i pgsql żeby wszystko zaczęło banglać ładnie. przynajmniej w moim projekcie

osobiście nie chcę MAMP'a. kiedyś korzystałem, ale jak mam out-of-the-box apacza i php (mysql normalnie doinstalowane) to nie widzę potrzeby tracenia miejsca na dysku na MAMP'a

mi tam się nigdy nie wykładał apacz ani php, ale ja tam też intensywnie z tego nie korzystam.

nie wiemy co próbujesz, ani co ci nie wychodzi.
dokładnie - co robisz i gdzie jest błąd.

zaciągnąć źródła PHP (5.3.2 skoro taki masz w systemie), skompilować te pluginy, wgrać w odpowiednie miejsca w OS Xowym PHP że tak powiem i wsio.

A więc:
zainstalowałem normalnie pgsql z paczki pkg z oficjalnej strony (v.9) jako miejsce wybrałem /usr/local/pgsql
włączając pgAdmin normalnie baza działa i można na niej pracować.

Następnie pobrałem źródła PHP (v.5.3.2 - bo taką posiadam w systemie).
i wykonałem następująco:
1)rozpakowałem archiwum i skopiowałem go w całości do folderu /usr/local/source
2)wszedłem do katalogu a dokładnie do folderu: /usr/local/source/php-5.3.2/ext/pgsql
3)następnie użyłem komend:

potem oczywiście w pliku:

/etc/php.ini

odznaczam średnik:

extension=php_pdo_pgsql.dll
extension=php_pgsql.dll

zapisuje i wykonuje restart apache:

sudo apachectl -k restart

i niestety nie daje to żadnego efektu. To samo jest z skopiowaniem pliku pgsql.so do tego katalogu.. myślę że teraz jest to bardziej jasne i jeśli można to proszę o pomoc.

Nie chce mi się tego wszystkiego analizować, ale jak widzę moduł pg_sql.so skompilowany masz, ale nie widzę czy ładujesz to w php.ini?

I co mówi phpinfo(), widać tam pg_sql?
